Adult Advent Calendar
An Advent calendar for you to use during this season along with or as a substitue for your own daily meditation.
NOVEMBER / DECEMBER MISSIONS
Thank you to everyone who donated to our November/December missions!
They are learning more about stewardship and thankfulness. They say: “They are thankful for all God has given them and they want to serve God by collecting items for those in need in their community.”
They are asking for your help with their November/December mission which will be collecting non-perishable food items along with mittens, hats, socks, underwear, gently used or new coats, and masks in all colors and sizes.
Items may be put in the plastic totes by the Church doors at any time from now until Christmas and they will be distributed to those in need within our community.
They will also accept monetary donations. Please note for Sunday school Nov/Dec Mission and they can be put in an envelope for offering plate or mailed to 741 Taborton Road, Sand Lake, NY 12153
The children leave you with this:

RADA CUTLERY FUNDRAISER
Chicken & Biscuit Dinner
We will be having a Drive-thru Chicken & Biscuit Dinner on Saturday, October 15th from 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm.
The dinner will include chicken & biscuits, mixed vegetables, and a dessert. The dinner will be $12.00 and can be picked up from 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

12/8: We will be lighting our second Advent candle “ Peace”. Learn about the Legend of the Candy Cane. Special music by the Algonquin Middle School Band. Enjoy apple crisp and ice cream refreshments after.
12/15: We will be lighting our third Advent candle “ Joy”. Learn about the Legend of the 12 days of Christmas and a Reenactment of the Birth of Christ. Special Christmas craft and gifts for all. Enjoy cookie refreshments after.
12/22: We will be lighting the fourth Advent candle “ Love” and also the Christ candle. Learn about the Legend of the Donkey. Christmas ornament for all. Enjoy bread and muffin refreshments after.

Wreaths for veterans
Wreaths for veterans
Our fellowship group has purchased 43 wreaths to be placed on the graves of veterans who are buried in our cemetery, as a tribute to honor them.
All are welcome to attend on Saturday, December 14th at 1:00 pm for the laying of the wreaths on the graves.
