Thank you ALL who supported our annual memorial cross-project.

The Sunday school is back in session.  The children are learning to follow in Jesus' ways and serve as his disciples.  The children are learning positive values, like empathy and awareness, and that they have the power to make a difference just by collecting spare change.  The change children collect gets turned into lifesaving supplies for children and families around the world.

Please help the children with their September/October Missions.  They are accepting CWS School and Hygiene Kit donations or monetary donations for the CWS School and Hygiene Kits starting today and ending October 10, 2021.  Donations can be put in the boxes at church, envelopes labeled CWS in the offering plates, through your electronic donation, or mailed to 741 Taborton Road, Sand Lake, NY 12153.

CWS SCHOOL KITS 

Supplies Needed: 

1.  One pair of blunt scissors (rounded tip only)

2.  Three 70-count bound notebooks or notebooks totaling 200-210 pages (no loose leaf or filler paper)

3.  One 30-centimeter, 12" ruler

4.  One hand-held pencil sharpener

5.  One large eraser (no pencil cap erasers)

6.  Six new, unsharpened pencils with eraser

7.  One box of 24 crayons

8.  One 12"x14"x17" finished size cotton or lightweight canvas bag with handles (solid color or kid-friendly fabric, NO logos, reusable shopping bags or backpacks)

CWS HYGIENE KITS

Supplies Needed: 

1.  One hand towel measuring approximately 15" x 28" to 16" x 32" (no fingertip, bath, dish towel, or micro-fiber)

2.  One washcloth

3.  One wide-tooth comb 

4.  One fingernail or toenail clipper

5.  One bath size bar of soap in the original package

6.  One toothbrush

7.  Ten standard size Band-aids

We are all living in challenging times…but because of people like YOU, we also have hope.

Because of YOU, weary neighbors can rest, a scared child is comforted, and people are cared for when they need it the most.  Church World Service is able to respond immediately, providing emergency cleanup buckets, hygiene kits, school kits, blankets, and other needed recovery items.

 We will be having a Drive-thru Chicken & Biscuit Dinner on Saturday, October 16th from 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm.

The dinner will include chicken & biscuits, mixed vegetables, and a cupcake for dessert. The dinner will be $12.00 and can be picked up from 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm

We invite you to begin the Christmas Season with all of us on the mountain, overlooking the beautiful Little Bowman Pond.

Join us on Saturday, November 13, 2021, from 10 am to 3 pm for our Annual Holiday Bazaar.

There will be tables of holiday decor & gifts, wrapping paper, cards, and supplies to begin preparing for the Holidays. There will be Children's crafts for them to make.  

Come for the BEST APPLE PIES around. Pick up a frozen pie or two, just pop in the oven, your house will smell terrific for the Holidays!!!

While shopping at the Gift Tables, you won't go away hungry.  Crockpots of  "Homemade" Soups will warm you up.  Before or after a delicious lunch, why not have a piece of pie with or without ice cream.  And of course, we'll have baked goods!

 Join us for a special Harvest Fest  Service Sunday October 16th at 10 am in the Fellowship Hall.

Bring your own pumpkin to carve or just decorate.

We will be having special music and a pumpkin parable with bible verses. Also a story for all ages.

Don't forget to bring some special baked goods for our Joseph House mission.

The service will be all ages so bring a friend.
