Operation Christmas Child is a mission project to provide local partners around the world with shoe boxes filled with small toys , hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in  their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ.  Shoe boxes filled with simple gifts are shipped outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S. 

If you would like to participate, please bring one or two shoe boxes and/or boot boxes.  Boxes MUST be in excellent condition with a cover in order to withstand several modes of travel as well as the customs process.  We are collecting these boxes between now and April 30th.  On May 12th, the Sunday School will distribute  the boxes during Sunday Service with instructions for filling the boxes over the summer months.  The filled boxes will be collected during September, and we will get them ready for the national collection week.  What an awesome way to brighten a child's Christmas in another part of the world!!  We hope you join the fun!!  Watch for more information!
