Thursday Zion's Children storytime

We are collecting the pull tabs used to open soda, soup, or other aluminum cans for the Ronald McDonald House.  The funds generated from recycling these aluminum tabs help offset the expenses of Ronald McDonald House.   

If you would like to help support our missions there will be a container in the Fellowship Hall and at church for the pull tabs.

Join us at 10:00 am for our church service and the beginning of the Advent candle lighting.

12/3: We will be lighting the first Advent candle “Hope”.

12/10: We will be lighting our second Advent candle “ Peace”.

12/17: Faith Formation Service for all ages in Fellowship Hall 10:00 am  We will be lighting our third Advent candle “ Joy”.   We will be having a story for all ages, bible reading, songs, and a craft. 

12/24: 10:00 am Christmas Service. No night time service.  We will be lighting the fourth Advent candle “ Love”.  We will be lighting the Christ candle. 
 

 All are welcome to attend Family Christmas Eve service at 7PM at  Salem United Methodist Church and/or the Church of the Covenant's candlelight service at 10PM.
 

 Sunday School will begin September 15th with a Faith Formation Service in the fellowship hall.  

Come and welcome in the new church year.  We will be having a story for all ages, bible reading, songs and a fall themed craft. 

Join us for a family fun day after the service.  After lite refreshments we will be going Apple picking to Windy Hills Orchard 1297 Brookview Station Rd, Castleton, NY and will meet in front of the store to pick apples for our Apple crisp that we will be making for our Holiday Bazaar.

Sunday School going forward will be every Sunday after Children’s Time.  Come and learn how to become one of Jesus' disciples and spread the good news.

We invite you to begin the Christmas Season with all of us on the mountain, overlooking the beautiful Little Bowman Pond.

Join us on Saturday, November 8th, from 10 am to 3 pm for our Annual Holiday Bazaar.

There will be tables of holiday decor & gifts, wrapping paper, cards, and supplies to begin preparing for the Holidays. There will be Children's crafts for them to make.  

While shopping at the Gift Tables, you won't go away hungry.  Crockpots of  "Homemade" Soups will warm you up.  Before or after a delicious lunch, why not have some apple crisp  with or without ice cream.  And of course, we'll have baked goods!

What would a Bazaar be without RAFFLES - we got em!!  Take a chance to win the gorgeous QUILT.  There will also be other great raffle items.

12/24: Christmas Eve Service at 7:00pm  We will be lighting the "Christ" candle.  Receive a small candy treat.
