Monday Zion's Book Club

In 1903 our church built a carriage shed to park the horse and wagons.  It was used as such until the automobile found its way to the mountain.  This is now our pavilion which we use for our festival and other events.  In 1981 we closed the front of the building towards the road and opened it in the back, so people did not have to enter by the road.  In the Spring of 1999, we voted to move the building back off the road and move one end of the building to the backside of the building and made this into a kitchen.  At that time, we painted the tin roof.  No one remembers when the present metal roof was put on, but it is in desperate need of replacement.  As it is now leaking, and the wood underneath is rotting.

We are conducting a Capital Campaign in hope of raising most funds to cover this major expense which is just under $65,000.
